When I came home from class tonight, my 8 year old daughter McKenna proudly demonstrated her reading abilities by reading a book out loud for me to hear. She struggled for so many months that hearing her read tonight felt like a major triumph! As it turns out, Whitney has been teaching her to read at night after they go to bed. Isn't it funny, Rhonda and I have worked with McKenna with only limited success, but learning from her sister seemed to make all the difference. I'm so proud of both my daughters!
